I’m suffering from shiny object syndrome. I keep hearing about all these new exciting ideas and evolution from AI that makes me want to launch a new business.

It’s bad… But just like you, I need to focus on my priorities and think about my near and short term goals. If this new opportunity passes the checks of all 3 of those then it’s worth a try, but normally, shiny objects don’t.

Always remember these tried and true laws of success:

New doesn’t mean better

It’s harder to create a new income and easier to grow a current one

It’s harder to get a new customer and easier to grow a current one

Starting over is harder than staying the path
