In this post, you will learn how to make money online by teaching people via audio courses! And guess what? You don’t need any fancy equipment or expensive software. All you need is a phone. I know, it sounds too good to be true! However, I promise you that this side hustle is legit and profitable.

I love this option because it doesn’t require you to be behind a camera. Not everyone is born with the natural ability to talk smoothly and appear relaxed when being filmed. Unless you’re set on a niche that requires some sort of video demonstration, you don’t need to be the face of your brand. You could record a lesson in your pajamas and nobody would know!

In a previous post, we talked about a site called Skillshare which is a platform that allows anyone to make a mini class. It’s a side hustle where if you made a new mini course every week for a year, you would be guaranteed to make a full time income. That could be anywhere from $2,500 to $10,000 a week. We are going to use the same strategy that we used for Skillshare but on a different platform for audio courses.

Mentality

I think that teaching is one of the best side hustles out there; I love helping other people. That being said, teaching can be hard. One of the challenges that come along with this side hustle is impostor syndrome. Many budding creators get stuck asking themselves the question ‘who am I to be speaking on the subject?’. The moral of the story is that there is always going to be someone more experienced, talented, and rich than you. This is how things always have been and how they always will be; don’t let this false mentality get you down!

One of my favorite teaching quotes relates the art of jiu jitsu. They have three steps to becoming a master: training with someone higher than your level, training with someone at your level, and teaching someone at a lower level. I love this mentality because it shows that if you want to get better at something, you actually need to teach someone!
